In Devices, Menno Aden shows AI-generated visions of technical machines, created with text-to-image algorithms. Designed to optimize everyday life, the speculative devices appear convincing at first glance. On closer inspection, however, they reveal distortions and contradictions. The series explores the aesthetics of machine imagination and reflects on our projections of a technologized future.
